Arsenal

Several years back I decided I wanted to have some Premier League team to root for. I chose Arsenal because they are owned by Stan Kroenke, who also owns the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche. Arsenal is kind of the Yankees of the Premier League, or maybe the Red Sox to Manchester United being the Yankees. When I chose them, I knew they were good but did not think I was bandwagoning so much as it feels now. I do not really care (too much). They are my team. Plus they have Declan Rice, and I have to root for my distant cousin Declan.
